Nomura Asset Management International Inc. and each of its affiliates (collectively, Nomura, us, our) are committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors, potential, current, and former customers.
This Privacy Notice (this Notice) provides detail about we how collect, use, and disclose personal data we collect through our website and other online and offline services we provide. Nomura is a data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation.

We will process your personal data for the purposes listed above on the basis of one or more of the following: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for entering into a contract with you. Please note that where this is the case, we may not be able to perform or enter into a contract with you unless you provide your personal data;

The processing is necessary for our or a third party's legitimate interests provided such interests are not overridden by your interests, or fundamental rights and freedoms. For further information, please refer to the 'Legitimate Interests' section below; or You have given your consent (where we rely on this legal basis, we will always seek to obtain your consent separately as and when necessary).

3. Types of Data Collected We collect two types of personal information from you:
(1) information you provide when you interact with us; and We collect personal information you voluntarily provide to us, such as when you contact us via our Services, send us an email, or otherwise interact with us. We typically collect the following categories of personal information in this manner:
Contact details, such as name, email address, address, and telephone number.
Commercial Information, such as the products and services you buy from us.
Characteristics of Protected Classifications under state or federal law, such as age, gender, and marital status. Professional information, such as your employer, business contact information and associated firm.
Audio or Electronic Information, such as call and video recordings.

We collect personal information passively through our Services, such as via cookies and other tracking technologies. This information may include:
IP addresses, mobile advertising IDs, and other unique identifiers.
Commercial information, such as web pages you visit, how long you visited our website, and the products you view. Geolocation data, such as device location.
Inferences drawn from any of the information listed above to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences, characteristics, behaviour, and attitudes.
These cookies and other tracking technologies allow us to understand your use of our Services and to advise you of any products or services that may be of interest to you. It helps us to improve our services, content and marketing. 4. Recipients of Data
Your data will be received by those bodies who need it to fulfil the purpose of data processing.
Data is not shared with third parties except where permitted by law and where it serves the fulfilment of one of the purposes mentioned above.
Thus, your personal data may be transferred to service providers, notably to the fund service providers, insofar as this is necessary.
Our service providers are companies in the categories of IT services, telecommunications, auditors, and consulting and advisory services. We have contractual arrangements with all service providers and processors to protect the data to be processed.
In addition, we may transfer data to other companies within the Nomura Group to the extent that this is necessary for customer service or the fulfillment of obligations arising from contracts with our customers, investors and other business partners and service providers, as well as for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, the organization and execution of events and the processing of invoices.
Furthermore, data is transferred to third parties if this is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation. Under this condition, recipients of personal data may be, for example, public bodies and institutions if a legal or official obligation exists.
Other data recipients may be those entities for which you have given us your consent to transfer data.

5. International Transfers
The data recipients are located both inside and outside the European Union.
A transfer of data to bodies in countries outside the European Union takes place as required by law, if consent has been given or if justified by a legitimate interest under data protection law and not opposed by any higher interest worthy of protection of the data subject.
A transfer to third countries is permissible if the bodies have provided suitable guarantees within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation , (e.g. through the agreement of EU standard contractual clauses) for compliance with the level of data protection in the European Union and enforceable rights and effective remedies are available. For third countries for which there is an adequate level of protection of personal data in Europe by order of the EU Commission (Article 45 GDPR) or if the data subject has given express consent, additional written agreements are not necessary.

6. Retention Period
We retain your Personal Information for the period reasonably necessary to provide goods and services to you and for the period reasonably necessary to support our business operational purposes in. Data no longer needed to fulfill the purpose is erased on a regular basis unless there are other requirements to retain the data for a longer (limited) period of time.

7. Rights of Data Subjects
You have the following rights regarding the use of your personal data by us (subject to applicable exemptions):

  • Right to access the personal data held about you and receive additional information about how it is processed;
  • Right to correct any inaccurate and complete any incomplete personal data;
  • Right to delete your personal data from our systems, e.g. where the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the specified purposes;
  • Right to restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, e.g. where you contest it's accuracy or object to processing;
  • Right to receive your personal data in an interoperable format, or have it directly transmitted to another organisation;
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time where you have provided us with your consent to the processing of personal data; and
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

8. Automated Decision Making
Cookies
When providing services through our websites, we strive to make our websites as easy and user-friendly as possible. To assist us in doing this, we use cookies. Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information, which your computer or mobile device downloads when you visit a website. When you return to websites - or visit other websites that use the same cookies - they recognise these cookies and therefore your browsing device. We do not use cookies in connection with your name, address or other personal data we have received from you via our websites.

IP Addresses
When you visit our websites our servers will record your IP address (without matching it to your name, address or similar personal data) together with the date and time of your visit. An IP address is an assigned number, similar to a telephone number, which allows your computer to communicate over the internet. We will use your personal data for demographic and statistical purposes, including to determine the number of visitors to our websites in any given period and analyse patterns of use of our websites. We do not match or combine such demographic or statistical information with other personal data.
